01 UX Audit

Since Stuff already had an existing design, we focused on identifying UX and UI optimizations that the developer could implement right away. This gave Stuff a more polished feel while we worked on the new design language. It also provided the client with a clear overview of the current design’s strengths and weaknesses, helping us pinpoint key areas to focus on as we refined the visual language.

02 Competitor Analysis

After reviewing the existing Stuff design, we conducted a competitor analysis to understand how key elements are presented and what mental models users are already familiar with. This helped us identify effective concepts we could elevate further while giving them the unique look and feel that defines Stuff.

03 Design Iterations

With a mood board and competitor analysis ready, we began iterating on the initial design ideas. To stay aligned with the client’s vision, we provided updates every 48 hours via Slack and held weekly calls. We retained Stuff’s core functionality while refining the visual language, enhancing the UX, and creating a cohesive, unique design throughout.

04 Design Kit & Delivery

Once the design iterations were complete, we created a Design Kit for the client and developer. This ensured consistency in fonts, icon styles, colors, and spacing, with clear documentation outlining the specifications for each design element.
